Diabetes UK - Launch "Putting Feet First"
Diabetes UK have launched their new campaign to raise awareness about foot care for people with diabetes. This new campaign aims to reduce the number of amputations by getting both patients and health care professionals to become more actively involved in foot checks. Self monitoring blood glucose levels
You may have seen in your GP surgery a leaflet explaining the change in guidelines for self monitoring your blood glucose levels, or you may have seen that testing strips have been removed from your prescription. Bexley Diabetes win X-Pert award
Bexley Diabetes have won the award for "greatest improvement in glycated haemoglobin." The team won the award at the Inaugural X-Pert Health awards last Thursday night. To read more click here.
