About us
Bexley diabetes team
Welcome to the website for the Bexley Diabetes Service.
Our aim is to provide patient centred, high quality care for people with diabetes as effectively as possible.
To help us achieve this, our Diabetes Network meets monthly and includes patient and carer representatives, clinicians from GP practices, community services (such as nursing, retinal screening and podiatry) and specialist Consultants.
We are constantly looking at ways to improve what we do and how we can do it better or more efficiently. For example,
- In November our specialist consultants start offering clinics at some GP practices bringing your care closer to home.
- We are expanding the ever popular X Pert patient education course offering you more times and locations.
