GP Patient Participation Groups

Help improve your GP practice by getting involved

Crook log PPG

Crook Log doctors’ surgery in Bexleyheath celebrated ten years of supporting and representing its 9,000 registered patients

  • Would you like to influence how services are run at your GP Practice?
  • Work with the doctors to make services better?
  • Do you have any good ideas for changes?

We are working with GPs in Bexley to set up Patient Participation Groups (PPG) at each of the practices.

These are groups made up of patients who meet and work in partnership with the doctors to make services better for everyone. Bexley already has several very successful PPG’s who amongst other things have set up exercise classes, hold health information events, help practice staff with the smooth running of vaccination clinic’s, produce regular newsletters to  and hold fund raising events to purchase additional equipment for the practice.

Get involved

If you are interested in being involved in a patient participation group, or would like further information, please contact our patient and community engagement officer Philippa James on 020 8298 6287.

If your practice doesn’t already have a PPG we can help you to get started.
