Bexley Diabetes Network Group
Within Bexley we are very lucky to have a successful Diabetes Network. The network is a group of key stakeholders within diabetes care in Bexley. The group includes; consultants and nurses from the hospital, GP's and nurses from local practices, representatives from podiatry and community services, the Bexley care trust team and patients.
The network meet on the first Friday of everything month at 12.30pm, the venue switches between Queen Mary's Hospital and the care trust itself, to ensure that all representatives can attend at least every other meeting. Within the network meetings all those with an involvement in diabetes from those delivering the service to those receiving the care, are brought together to discuss and make decisions on how the service can be improved and important changes made.
